About Lesson

Service is at the heart of the USS Corsair.

Through our shared commitment to service, we strengthen the bonds between our chapter members and foster growth in leadership. When we give back to our chapters, communities, and country, we not only learn about their needs but also connect in ways that truly matter.

The history of the USS Corsair is rich with these connections, showcasing how our members have used their unique strengths to make a positive impact in the world. As we continue to strive to be the premier Star Trek fan club, we embrace the spirit of servant leadership in everything we do. We have the exciting opportunity to help our members grow as leaders by sharing our time and talents in our service programs. By organizing projects that resonate with our passions, we can spark that desire for service in others.

For new members, diving into service is one of the best ways to get acquainted with the USS Corsair and STARFLEET. Participating in chapter service activities can open doors to new experiences, skills, and friendships with people who share your interests and values. These service projects can introduce you to different corners of your community and provide a fulfilling sense of belonging. There are countless ways to engage in service and equally as many opportunities to make it meaningful for everyone involved.

Keep an eye on our event calendar for upcoming service opportunities, and don’t forget to check in at our monthly meetings or on the USS Corsair’s Discord channel. We also encourage members to embark on ‘solo away missions’ and share their experiences with the Command Staff. Happy serving, everyone!
