Star Trek to me has always been about the optimistic view of the future and understanding the true meaning of IDIC. I have a soft spot for the Romulans—even though they are the "bad guys", truly they do have a sense of honor and are motivated to secure their Empire.

The episode of Star Trek I've been enjoying the most is Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks crossover "Those Old Scientists". The use of humor and the melding of animation and real life was especially well done—plus, I identify with Uhura as a bit of a workaholic.

As for USS Corsair activities, I really enjoy heading over to the Stennis Space Center for InfinitiCon and hanging out with our fellow STARFLEET Chapters. It's always great to catch up on what everyone is doing.

One of my favorite episodes is from Star Trek: The Next Generation called "Tapestry". In this episode "Q" offers Captain Picard the chance to go back in time to fix the mistake that led to his artificial heart. I relate to this episode for its deeply relatable exploration of regret and the idea that our mistakes and choices, even the painful ones, shape who we are and its profound message about accepting one's past.

One of my favorite Star Trek Characters is Garak from Star Trek: Deep Space 9. I am honored by his uncanny ability to often say one thing but mean another. One of my favorite Star Trek Alien Races are the Ferengi. I enjoy seeing through Star Trek episodes their development. While often portrayed as greedy, characters like Quark demonstrate depth and complexity, allowing for storylines that explore their motivations and personal struggles beyond just profit.

My favorite USS CORSAIR event is when the members come together to recognize and award one another with fun and games, the crew's contributions to their community, and or STARFLEET. This is a great time to reflect on missions from the past year and look ahead toward missions in the upcoming year.

I don't really have a Favorite Alien Race unless you count AI/Androids; ergo my favorite character is Data. I am looking forward to when AI/Androids become self aware and have it as a companion. Also Data is a cat daddy.

My favorite episode would be DS9: "Explorers". I love the idea of traveling through space with a solar sail ship.

My favorite USS Corsair event is InPerson GameDay. I like the comradery and social aspect of gaming. People who enjoy exploring and having fun and learning new things with others would get along well in the Science Department. (The 3 E's Motto: Explore, Experiment, Enjoy)

I enjoy the Star Trek Universe as a whole. I am always pleased with watching episodes from each series, but one of my favorite episodes is "Charades" from Star Trek Strange New Worlds. A shuttle accident leads to Spock's Vulcan DNA getting removed by aliens, making him fully human and unprepared to face T'Pring's family during an important ceremonial dinner. Spock awakens back on the Enterprise. He was injured in that accident and the beings responsible for the anomaly "healed" Spock as part of their protocol. Only one problem: they made him fully human. Ethan Peck gets an opportunity to portray Spock as fully human with the raging emotions of a teenager, which makes for a hilarious comedic performance as he learns to navigate human feeling.
