STARFLEET Petfleet Announces New Challenges March 2025

**STARFLEET Petfleet News – Academy Challenge and Walking Challenge**
Our current Academy Challenge offers you the opportunity to learn about Echinoderms. These creatures play crucial roles in marine ecosystems: sea stars help maintain balance as key predators, while sea cucumbers aid in nutrient cycling. Echinoderms indicate environmental health, reflecting changes in ocean conditions. Let’s appreciate these remarkable marine creatures.
Log into your account at: es.sfi.org and go to the IBE Echinoderms Course folder.
You will find the following folders with subjects relating to that course.
IBE Echinoderms Manual
IBE 101 – Echinoderms Introduction
IBE 102 – Sea Stars and Brittle Stars
IBE 103 – Sea Urchins and Sand Dollars
IBE 104 – Sea Cucumbers and Crinoids
After you finish all exams, be sure to enter the information with a copy of your certificates here: https://petfleet.sfi.org/events-activities/quarterly-academy-challenges/

Join the STARFLEET Petfleet Walking Challenge and get active with your pets! Log all your steps (not just those taken with your pets) at the end of each month. At the end of each quarter, top walkers will earn a certificate of recognition.
Remember to include the names of your pets. My steps include interacting with my house rabbits, outdoor chores with cats who want to help out, and occasionally seeing Bigfoot strolling about.
Report your steps at the end of each month here:
