Captain’s Report: VADM Trisha
- Not much news to report. The Region 3 Virtual Summit is coming up July 10, 2021, a complete schedule can be found at REGION3.ORG
- Made arrangements to have Crew Meetings for the rest of the year at Jones Creek Library. Crew agreed more convenient for the majority, easy parking. and good restaurants if people want to go out after the meeting.
- The USS CORSAIR will have information tables at MidCity MicroCon and Louisiana ComicCon. Will need volunteers to help staff.
- Willing to host September Star Trek Anniversary Event on Saturday September 4th (Labor day weekend). We’ll put new Lower Decks episodes on, gaming, and potluck. Will post sign up list for dishes. This will be easier than the park.
Executive Officer’s Report CAPT Sydney
- We will be emailing expired and soon to be expired members reminders to renew their STAFLEET memberships. If you need help renewing or need your SCC # please use the CONTACT US FORM on the website. Complete list of Red Shirts is on the agenda.
- Proposed Event-Boba Tea Crawl [tentative August 14]. There have been several tea cafes pop up in Baton Rouge all with different specialty teas. This would be an enjoyable afternoon together trying them all. What is Boba Tea? Here’s a helpful article
Second Officer/Ship’s Musician’s Report: CMDR Gail
- Tangi Relay for Life is still not finalized, but we’re doing gift basket raffles. We need items to put in gift baskets
- Still doing BoxTops for A’s school. Please remember to scan your receipts!
- Book Club will start meeting in the Fall. Summer date just didn’t work out with everyone’s schedules.
- Game Day returns July 24th! Will be meeting at Coffee Call @2PM in Baton Rouge.

- Still hanging around, on a top secret mission.

- Moved Monday Trivia and Jackbox Games to the Region 3 Discord Server to increase numbers.
- Wednesday streaming-we take requests! Did a night of “The Tick”-classic animated series. “SPOON!”
- We’ll be finishing up a mission next session July 3rd for our Star Trek RPG. Anyone is welcome to join.
