USS Corsair: Monthly Subspace Transmission – June 2026

The Latest From Your Baton Rouge Louisiana Star Trek Club!

1) ⚡ SUB-SPACE FREQUENCIES OPENED (Call to Order)

The bridge crew officially commenced the briefing. All decks standing by.

2) ⚓ COMMANDING OFFICER’S LOG (Captain’s Report)

  • Fleet Command Status: Starfleet Command’s Digital Systems & Tech team is working overtime in the drydock. After a recent cyber-anomaly, Fleet Admiral Ryan Case reports they are actively purging compromised code from the main computer cores. Two brand-new, heavily armored servers are being built from the ground up with maximum security shields. They are safely migrating old database files and WordPress environments back online. The captain stresses: We are prioritizing security over speed so the main SFI database doesn’t get knocked offline again.

  • Sector Rendezvous: The Region 3 Summit is locked into the navigation matrix for June 19–21 in the Killeen, Texas sector.

    • Coordinates cross multiple planetary starbases (hotels); check region3.org/2026-region-3-summit for coordinates.

    • Transporter authorization (registration) requires 50 credits ($50.00).

  • The Quartermaster’s Locker: The Corsair Cache is officially operational! Replicate your ship swag, uniforms, and gear at usscorsair.printify.me.

3) 🖖 FIRST OFFICER’S DIRECTIVES (Executive Officer)

  • Away Mission – InfiniCon: On June 6 (1000 to 1400 hours), we are deploying an away team to the INFINITY Science Center in Pearlington, MS.

    • Shuttle departure: Standard setup begins at 0930.

    • Uniform of the Day: Strange New Worlds duty attire.

    • Dukat/Credits: Entry is $15, but crew members working the recruitment subspace table are exempt from the fee. Plot a course to visitinfinity.com for planetary data.

  • Away Mission – Galaxy Con: Set for July 10–12 at the Ernest N. Memorial Convention Center. We are currently caught in a tractor beam on the “waitlist” for a recruitment table. Standing by for subspace clearance from local quadrant authorities.

  • Fleet Recruitment Drive: Continue scanning local sectors for friendly lifeforms! If you encounter civilians who exhibit a high affinity for Star Trek, invite them to join the crew. We are actively seeking personnel who want to engage on a highly active, social level.

  • Cadet Training: Remind all new recruits to complete their Starfleet Compass 101 orientation.

4) 📂 SHIP SERVICES & RECRUITMENT

  • Sensor Sweep: Roll call has been completed. Four subspace chronometer alerts (emails) were transmitted this month for crew contract renewals.

  • Priority Subspace Code: Napoleon says talk to Jefferson immediately! (No, the universal translator isn’t glitching—move on this order now!)

  • Holodeck & Entertainment Scheduling: Send word to Ship Services regarding which upcoming cinematic data-tapes (movies) you wish to view. We are arranging group shore leave shuttles to the local theater sectors.

5) 🧬 LIFE & SCIENCES DIVISION

  • Holodeck Gaming Matrix: The next tactical simulation night at the Little Wars sector is scheduled for the fourth Saturday in June (June 27) at 1600 hours.

  • Sensor Logs: Our last physical gaming deployment successfully standard-orbited with a away team of 4 crew members.

6) 🥾 STARFLEET MARINE CORPS 327th  MARINE STRIKE GROUP

  • Operation “Earn and Learn”: Over the weekend of June 13–14, the Marines are partnering with the Society of Louisiana CPAs for a critical financial literacy mission at the Knock Knock Museum in Baton Rouge

  • Volunteers Needed: We require personnel to assist civilian children, manage the supply depot (store), and secure the perimeter. Subspace transmission links to volunteer are being beamed to the Discord comms channel now.

🎥 SPECIAL STARFLEET MISSION BRIEF: THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY VIDEO PROJECT

“WHAT STAR TREK MEANS TO YOU”

Fleet Command is preparing a massive archival subspace transmission to celebrate 60 years of our legacy. Every crew member is requested to submit a personal data-file.

  • Objective: Record what Star Trek means to your personal journey as it hits its 60th solar cycle.

  • File Parameters:

    • Temporal Length: 30 seconds minimum / 2 minutes maximum.

    • Data Format: .mp4 file, sharp 1080p resolution, recorded horizontally (landscape mode).

    • Environmental Conditions: Ensure proper ambient lighting and crisp, static-free audio.

    • Subspace Encryption (File Name): Follow this exact string: ChapterName_LastName_FirstName_60thAnniversary.mp4 (e.g., USS_Corsair_Kirk_James_60thAnniversary.mp4).

  • Transmission Protocol: Beam completed files directly to co***@*fi.org.

💡 Tactical Away-Team Tips: Speak straight from your primary heart—your story belongs in the permanent Starfleet Archive. Stabilize your recording tricorder, use a clean background matrix, and run a diagnostics check on your audio receptors before broadcasting.

End of Transmission. Secure all decks. Onward and Upward!
